Hi everyone! I want to first thank you for following my blog. I am new at this and I will just say now I’m not the best writer.
Anyway, a little about me! My name is Nicole. I started taking ballet class around the age of 4. One day I went to try a dance class with my neighbor Amy and I loved it. Dance wasn’t for Amy but I have been dancing ever since!
Ever since the first Nutcracker I was in I knew I wanted to dance ballet. My mom tried to get me to try other activities like soccer, theater, softball, etc.. but I fought her on each activity. All I wanted to do was go to ballet class. She finally stopped trying and accepted that I only want to dance lol! So I have focused on dance for all these years. I have taken ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, character, graham and more but my primary focus has always been on ballet.
Ballet has provided me with many opportunities over the years. I trained at some amazing summer intensives which include the Boston Ballet School, The Rock School, NYSSSA, Complexions and then this past summer the Bolshoi Ballet Academy’s Summer Intensive.
My experiences this summer from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Program are what inspired me to start this blog. I am just a shy, simple girl with a big dream and I want to share my journey to hopefully become a professional ballet dancer with you in this blog. Thanks for following me and for all the support!
